Terms of Service

Please read the following before ordering, thank you!

By commissioning me you agree to the following:

  • I reserve the right to decline any commission that does not fit my art style, artistic preference, closely with what I feel comfortable working on or most capable of fulfilling.
  • I own all rights to the art work(s) completed. I have the right to post / not post the commissioned artwork on my social media.
  • Artworks are for intended use only. (emotes for chat services, banners for web pages, panels, PP, etc.)
    • Do not reproduce commercially or resell.
    • You are not allowed to claim artwork as your own, please give credit when artwork is shared or displayed outside of intended use.
    • Do not alter or trace over the artwork. If you would like revisions to the artwork, please ask. *additional charges will apply.
    • If you wish to hire me for commercial or freelance work outside of my listed options please send an inquiry to: marilith@seraphskiss.com
  • You accept that you may need to pay extra fees when ordering for extra details.
  • TOS are subject to change at any time.
  • Average time for completion is 1 week to a month depending on complexity of the piece and communication.
    • I may be working on other commissions, projects, or life things may happen… Please be patient.
  • Please do not mint/sell the commission for NFT.
  • No refunds. All sales are final.

Payment

  • Payments will be accepted through PayPal invoicing.
  • I will not start your Commission until payment is received.
    • Commissions under $100 must be paid upfront before any work is done.
    • Commissions over $100 must be paid in half of the total payment up front before any work is done. Final half will be paid by completion but may be paid earlier depending on scope of work.
  • All prices are listed in USD.

Cancellations

  • If you need to cancel your commission, prior to the sketch phase, you will receive a 100% refund.
  • If a sketch has been completed, you will receive a max 50% refund to cover the time spent researching and sketching your subject.
  • Any refunds after a sketch is approved are subject to the amount of work already completed.
  • I will not provide refunds if I interpret the artwork as 90% completed.
  • If a commission has already been paid and then canceled by me, a refund proportional to the work not yet completed will be issued.

Process & Revisions

  • You can contact me via the following methods:
    • Discord – this will require Friending me or Sharing a Mutual Server
    • Email, Form – TBD
  • I will respond to you via previous methods:
    • If by Discord – consultation will be reviewed
    • If by Email/Form – please check your spam folder
  • Upon payment, I will start your commission
  • You will receive sketches of your commission through Discord or GoogleDocs
    • Colors and styles should be established in your commission as well as description and/or visual references
    • If revisions are required, you need to let me know what to change in this step
      • I will only do revisions on a completed piece if it is a tiny fix or my misunderstanding
      • If a revision that involves extensive work of the piece is required, please expect to be charged an extra fee
  • Line art, rough color, details (depending on the commissioned style) will follow
    • You will be allowed another revision pass at this point
  • Upon agreement of completion, if required, I will require the final half of the commission
    • You will receive a high res completed PNG via email or Discord
